How do I find out where a prisoner is being held if they are not listed on the sherrifs website?

My friend? howard Rigler just called me this morning from a jail payphone saying he has nothing to lose and he is coming after me. I called the police and was told they cannot do anything unless he threatens me again. I called his ex-wife and let her know that he threatened her too. She already has a restraining order against him. I will have to get one too. Those payphones should be monitored for violent threats. He said his being in jail was all my fault!!!

What happens when they lose an inmates property during a transfer?

I have been sentenced to spend May 1st thru 3rd in custody downtown. I have several medications that I take daily. How is that handled? Do I bring my prescription bottles with me? I am hesitant to do that because one of them is highly addictive and if they are lost or stolen I will be in deep trouble because I cannot get a new prescription until it is time.

The hours are different for each facility, and each floor or house within that facility. I would go to the SD sheriff web site and look up the one you want to visit. Lots of info there.
